Discussing cancer with experts in the field in order to educate patients, families, and the general public. One of the most common complaints we hear from our patients when we first meet them to discuss their cancer diagnosis and treatment plan is that there is a lack of reliable, available information about cancer. Evaluating what is or isn’t a credible source of information on the internet is challenging, even for the most experienced of Googlers. We are seeking to fill that gap by providing the public with understandable, reliable information about cancer. Join us as we talk to healthcare experts at Ochsner about what you need to know should you or a loved one receive a cancer diagnosis.
